Provident Trust Group Makes the 2011 Inc. 500ǀ5000 Fast-Growth List

Provident Trust Group is pleased to announce that it has been listed in Inc. Magazine’s annual exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.  Due to its substantial growth, Provident Trust Group was ranked #102 in the Financial Services industry and #2142 nationally.

According to Inc. Magazine, the rankings are based on percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010.  During this three-year period, Provident Trust Group showed 117% revenue growth.  Moreover, to qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent as of December 31, 2010, with a minimum revenue requirement for 2007 of $100,000 and a minimum revenue requirement for 2010 of $2,000,000.  In an announcement, Inc. Magazine noted: “The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.”

The Inc. 500ǀ5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony will take place on September 22-24, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, located minutes from downtown Washington, D.C.  Other companies that have previously received this recognition include Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle, and Zappos.com.
