Sales Manager

Responsibilities:  
Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Job Duties and Expectations:

  • Sales Goal Expectations:
    • Develop a deep understanding of the product
    • Build a pipeline of potential client relationships
    • Develop and manage key client relationships and initiate business development activities including networking
    • Build client profiles and participate in weekly sales review meetings
    • Monitor competing organizations and evaluate their sales techniques
    • Negotiate contracts in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
    • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product
    • Monitor the internal and external environment for development of new market segments
    • Set Team and Individual Goals:
    • Establish sales goals for the department each quarter
    • Prepare a quarterly written plan of action to achieve team goals
    • Organize, direct and control sales team to meet these goals and to assist salespeople to maximize their potential
    • Achieve forecasted sales by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) written plan of action
  • Coaching sales team:
    • Coach, counsel, support, motivate and inform sales team in order to help them reach their sales goals
    • Review the performance of your salespeople to motivate and stimulate them to even greater achievements
    • Constantly strive toward continuing professional growth
    • Work to improve sales, managerial, and business skills and keep informed of the latest sales strategies

Job Requirements


Sales Manager


Essential Skills / Education / Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions
  • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force
  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Willingness to travel and work with a nationwide team of professionals
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment

Salary Expectations:  
This salary will pay in the $50,000 – $60,000 range plus commissions.

Appointment Setters and Sales Closers


Provident Trust Group is currently looking to expand our sales team with multiple positions for both Appointment Setters and Sales Closers reporting to a sales manager.

Job Duties & Expectations:

Appointment Setters:

  • Ability to work individually as well as with multiple teams with varying deadlines and competing priorities
  • Attracts potential customers by intelligently answering questions; suggesting information about other services
  • Call prospective clients in designated market area to qualify leads and explain type of service or product offered
  • Develop product knowledge to accurately assist clients choosing the best option
  • Enters contact information into the system for the rest of the sales team
  • Track and distribute inbound leads
  • Utilizes their experience and contributes to team discussions and development

Closers:

  • Ability to work individually as well as with multiple teams with varying deadlines and competing priorities
  • Attracts potential customers by intelligently answering questions; suggesting information about other services
  • Close sales as part of the sales team
  • Develop product knowledge to accurately assist clients choosing the best option
  • Manage prospects though lead process cycle
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Utilizes their experience and contributes to team discussions and development

Job Requirements


Appointment Setters and Sales Closers


  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Sales experience (2+ years for Closer Position)
  • Stellar attendance
  • Financial or banking services background a plus
  • Proactive person who is results driven
  • Ability to recognize possible problems
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
  • Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Excellent customer service and business communication skills

Salary Expectations:

  • Appointment Setters: This position pays between $14.00-$17.00/hour plus commissions (commensurate with experience)
  • Closers: This position pays between $15.00-$19.00/hour plus commissions (commensurate with experience)
